What is intersectionality? –> How different parts of your identity come together to form one experience

Wikipedia: Intersectionality is an analytical framework for understanding how aspects of a person’s social and political identities combine to create different modes of discrimination and privilege.

Google Dictionary: Intersectionality – the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender as they apply to a given individual or group, regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage

The storm on the Capitol and the insurrection tells us about the need for Intersectionality by creating two conflicting sides of Republicans vs. Antifa and Black Lives Matters Protestors. People did not except the lies that were told to us. This isn’t political identity, people were upset that there were miscounted votes and they were there to represent that. However, there were BLM and Antifa were the ones causing the disruption to made it seem like there was white privilege, but it was just people justifying the election.

The storm the Capitol was a representation of citizens upset from the election fraud. You have those people who were there for the election fraud and those who were there to essentially make others seem crazy. Those groups were Republicans vs. Antifa and Black Lives Matter protestors.

Overall, the storming was not a well representation we should hold. When it comes to discrimination and race, the outcome could have been completely different if the articles released, put the blame on a particular race. Thats when privilege can come in.
